CRIMINAL. TWENTY-SEVEN. SELF-EMPLOYED. EGOTISTICAL. ARROGANT. PLAYER. INTELLIGENT. SELFISH.

They wanted a child solely for the fact that they needed an heir. If they had had a girl, they would have kept going until they had a boy. That was how the family was. There was no love. There never was. Lydia and Teller's marriage was an arranged one, something to keep the money in the family. They didn't love one another and they never would, but they both understood what they needed to do in order to keep their fortunes safe and control. Nixon was raised by the nannies in the household, for his parents never wanted a thing to do with him. They had done their duty in birthing the baby boy, and in their opinions, that was where their responsibilities ended. They didn't need to care for him after they named him. Because of that, Nixon grew with a natural coldness to him. Even as a little boy he was disconnected from the women who carried for him. He didn't hug them, he didn't say he loved them, he didn't show them any care. Still to this day, Nixon has yet to utter the words 'I love you'. Why should he when he never heard them growing up? They are words that are significantly absent from his vocabulary, and he's perfectly accepting of that fact. He doesn't need love when he has his money. Money is happiness, and that is clearly shown through his lifestyle. Extravagant is an understatement. What he wants, he gets, especially since his father passed away. As he was growing up, he never wanted for a thing. Whatever he asked for he got, and that molded him into an incredibly spoiled and selfish individual. He didn't have to share with anyone and he really quite enjoyed that. Why should he have to share the money that his family had earned through their own hard work? It didn't make sense to him even at the age of ten. He was sent to the best and most expensive private schools, and while he was known for being the school bully, he never slipped in his studies. He actually quite enjoyed school, as well as learning new things. He could be found reading in the library of the family home more often than not. It was almost as if reading was an escape for him, and he enjoyed it to no end. Because of his well educated upbringing, Nix is extremely intelligent. His mind is sharp and quick, and because of that alone, he is always able to stay one step ahead of the authorities. After his father died a year ago, Nix inherited the family's fortunes. His mother seems pretty bitter about it, but he's never in contact with her unless she needs something. He always gives her what she needs so he doesn't expect to hear a complaint from her. She still lives lavishly, and in his opinion, she should be grateful for that. Of course she isn't though, and she's constantly badgering him about settling down with a nice woman, pestering him about starting a family. Nixon is Boston's most eligible bachelor, but he isn't one to set his sights on just one individual. He's too wrapped up in his Ponsi scheme to be perfectly honest. He's tangled up with the Russians so that it's successful. He shares profits with them, but they don't ask for very much because of their successful mob business. He owns an investing company, or the family does, and it is extremely profitable even without his illegal additions. However, his wants are greater than what he has now, and he knows that he needs to make more money. He attracted the attentions of private investors, promising them investment returns up to one thousand percent. Of course he has grabbed the attention of many, and so far, everything is working out. Until recently. The cops have caught wind of his suspicious criminal activity, but he's well rehearsed and well trained in this field. He knows what to say, he knows how to give them the slip. He isn't wanted and he isn't on the run. He's simply living his life and that's fine with him. He has all of the money, the women, the booze that he could ever want. He spends his money on toys and more toys, and he spoils the women he might be courting that week. He's extremely egotistical and full of himself, and it's quite obvious. Eventually, the people around him, in his closest circle, believe he's going to run out of steam, but right now...Nix is strong and successful, and that's the only thing he can see. |
