Ledarias patiently got off the T at Downtown Crossing on the Orange line. He had both hands jammed firmly into his coat pockets. He walked down the platforms past the street performers, some guy playing a violin, and a woman playing the harp. Ledarias shook his head, some people just sit around expecting things to fall into their laps. He took the left to go through the turnstile, and a right to go up the stairs. He walked up the steps and onto the street. He looked to the left to see the Macy's and to his right to see a lot that had been under construction since before he could remember. He walked up towards Tremont St.
He took a left onto Boylston and walked into the Seven Eleven. He walked in and made his way to the fridges at the back of the store, he opened it and grabbed an Orange Powerade. He then made his way towards the counter and placed the Powerade and a twenty dollar bill on the counter, "Get me a pack of Reds too. The indian man behind the counter immediately greeted him, "Salaam A'lakum Brother! No problem right away." Ledarias looked at the man as he went to grab his cigarettes with his permanent scowl and responded, "Yeah... Jai Ho to you too man." The man placed the cigarettes on the counter and grabbed the twenty, after punching a few buttons on the register and popped the drawer open and handed Ledarias his change. "Thank you sir.
Ledarias merely nods and walks out of the door and back onto the street. He undoes the plastic on pack of cigarettes and popped it open. He pulled the foil off the top and crumpled it up tossing it onto the street. He pulls a cigarette out and puts it in his mouth, he jams the pack into his pocket and pulls a lighter out in its place. He lights the cigarette and takes a drag. He waits a moment as he lets out the smoke, he looks both ways and crosses Tremont St. As he makes it he walks into the Common.
He was waiting on Little Miss Lyons to tell him were he needed to be. The Boston Common was the best place to wait for these calls. From here he had access to the Red, Orange and Green Lines which could take him anywhere he needed to be and on top of that he was right in the middle of the city. Plus it was a pretty nice place to just wait. Ledarias found a bench and sat down, he took a drag of his cigarette and let out the smoke. He took the cigarette out of his mouth and opened the Powerade and took a big gulp of it. He then sat and waited..
