[style=background: transparent; width:240px; padding:5px; text-align: center; font-size: 9px;]WORDS zero zero zero TAGGED bailey Running his fingers through his hair, he ducked behind one of the buildings as people scurried by. He was supposed to be prepping for his upcoming interview with the Boston Harold, but he had needed a moment to himself. Everything was going fast, just like Phillipa had warned him. The election was only months, or weeks, away, and he was too busy still trying to win over the public. It wasn't fair that he couldn't even breath, but Johnny also knew that this would be his life until the next election. He knew that once everything was over, everything would work out perfectly. This was how he was going to give back to the community; he was going to represent them in a timely and fashionable manner. He was going to turn the city around into a place that he adored like he had when he was a teenager. All these people wandering around, claiming they were part of the mafia's that had begun to overrun the city, were causing too much panic. Johnny knew more about the mafia's then he should, but that was alright. He needed to know these things, and Phillipa had reviewed everything. Without her, he was sure that he would have never been considered a candidate. It was like without Bailey, he was sure he would be a mess hiding in his apartment soon.
Just the thought of Bailey made everything seem better. He grinned, and continued walking towards a store, in desperate need to spoil his love. She meant everything to him, and he couldn't imagine surviving without her. Somehow, Bailey had managed to deal with becoming part of the public eye amazingly, and he was surprised that she hadn't killed him yet. Johnny knew that he spoiled her rotten, but he couldn't help it. She hated it when she was spoiled, but his love for her was unconditional. He wanted to shout it out from the highest tower. Yet, he hadn't been able to put the words together when with her. She had to know that he loved her, but Johnny just hadn't put the three words together. He didn't want to push their relationship too far, just like he hadn't pushed having sex wit her yet. They hadn't had sex, and while it killed him that they hadn't, he was waiting. It was more important that she was comfortable with him then anything else, and that was what he told himself. His eyes lit up as the jewelry store appeared. As a reminder of their anniversary dinner tonight, he was planning on ravishing her with presents up the who ha.
The interview went well, and by the time he left the office, it was a little before five o'clock. Sprinting to a taxi, he managed to get to her apartment in under ten minutes, a personal record. In his left pocket was a beautiful present for her (no ring; that would be when they were older) and in his right hand was a bouquet of red roses. Their dinner reservations were not until six thirty, but he wanted to be early and get ready and look presentable. While this was a personal date, he knew that people would recognize him and make comments and expect him to look his best. He needed to for the sake of his campaign.
Or that was Phillipa had drilled into his mind.
He let himself into the apartment with his spare key, something he was pleased to have. "Bailey, I'm home!" he called out, grinning from ear to ear. He couldn't wait to spend the night with her. NOTES he feels bad lol |

she was looking forward to this evening even though she knew that it wouldn't be as private as she wished it could be. ever since johnny had decided to run for mayor, their private, quiet lives had been turned upside down. she wasn't complaining, because she would never complain about something that obviously made him so happy, but she just wished they could have time to themselves. if they weren't busy appearing at a debate or an interview, they were being carted around for some other event or another. bailey was a good sport and she always would be, but it was all a bit overwhelming for the small town southern girl who hadn't known a cocktail dress from an evening gown only months before. she wasn't prim and proper, she wasn't as stylish as she was certain she should be. but with the help of johnny and philipa, she was slowly changing her ways and while it excited her, she was also hesitant and scared as well. of course, she would never voice her fears to johnny because she wanted to appear supportive at all times. she could swallow her reservations and enjoy the few quiet moments she did get to spend with him.
bailey just wished she didn't feel like she was running constantly to keep up with him.
even now she was exhausted from working the extra shifts at the coffee shop and from going out on the campaign with johnny. they were to appear united, and they were, but it was taking more and more make up to hide the circles beneath her eyes. she didn't even know how johnny managed to be as awake as he appeared, and she was certain that he was suffering more than he let on. sighing softly to herself, bailey turned her big blue eyes to gaze at the clock. it was four. if she timed it right, she could sneak a nap in before johnny got here, since she wasn't expecting him to be early. it would only take an hour for her to take ready anyway since she had showered earlier in the day already. she had the day off, which she appreciated, but she had still be up early to run errands. she had managed to pick up johnny's dry cleaning and drop of the pamphlets to where they needed to go, and she had gone shopping for food in her bare apartment. now that she felt stocked and ready to go, she had been in a cleaning frenzy all day long. the apartment was spotless since it was the only time she really had to clean it, but she was exhausted now.
flopping down on the coach, she called phoenix over to her, watching as the chocolate labrador clambered clumsily up onto the couch. he curled up at her feet and she covered them both with the blanket that had been draped over the back of the couch. relaxing, she started flipping through the channels, her heart skipping a beat when she saw johnny's face on one of the main news stations. she took in the sight of his handsome features and she couldn't stop the small smile that worked its way onto her features. she loved him unconditionally, but she was too shy and too hesitant to take that leap. content with how they were now, she settled into the couch and was soon drifting into a sleep that was much deeper than she usually fell into. so far gone was she that she didn't even hear johnny come in. phoenix stretched down from the couch and blundered over to him to greet him, but bailey was still fast asleep, curled up in a ball. she had managed to yank one of johnny's sweatshirts over her because his smell comforted her, and she looked cozy all bundled up. she would be ready for tonight but this sleep had taken her by surprise.

[style=background: transparent; width:240px; padding:5px; text-align: center; font-size: 9px;]WORDS zero zero zero TAGGED bailey He entered the apartment, ready to greet her with a kiss and a hug, but instead was greeted by Phoenix. The pooch licked his hand and Johnny scratched the dog behind its ears before looking around the corner and seeing his beautiful girlfriend sleeping gently on the couch. His sweatshirt was draped over her petite frame, and he wished that they could spend the night in the apartment. He was constantly going all the time, always moving and smiling. It was rare that he was able to relax for a night, holding Bailey and whispering sweet nothings into her ear. Almost, for a brief second when they were planning their anniversary dinner, he almost offered up staying in the apartment. But he didn’t, instead claiming that he found the best restaurant in town for the two of them to dine at and they would have a grand old time. He could see how stressed Bailey was, how tired she was from always going out with him and always being in front of the cameras. It was a different environment, not only for the small town boy from outside of Boston, but to the small southern girl who had just moved here. He wished he could make this easier for her.
But he couldn’t, and he was content watching her sleep.
Moving into the kitchen, he took his jacket off and placed it over one of the chairs. Drawing himself a glass of water, he took a sip before placing it on the counter. He loosened his tie and went back into the living room, surprised that she was still sleeping like a baby. He lifted her feet up and sat down next to her before leaning over and pressing his lips against her ear. ”Time to wake up, cub scout” he whispered into her ear before pressing his lips against hers. He leaned back and gently began to rub her feet, giving her a small foot massage. Yes, he would love to spend the night relaxing in the apartment. But tonight was about the two of them and he was not going to bring something up that she may not want. Besides, he had a big thing to tell her. He was going to admit that he loved her, because he truly did love her with all of his heart. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to make her happy. He hadn’t told anyone he loved them in what seemed like years, and this was real, what he had with her.
Vienna had broken his heart. The girl he never talked about had broken his heart. Bailey was actually taking care of his heart, and that was what he wanted. He wanted to be loved and give love to someone that deserved it. Looking at Bailey, he grinned. ”We don’t have to go out tonight, sleepy head. I know you’ve been working a lot and I’ve definitely been keeping you busy,” he said, releasing her feet. Johnny ran his fingers through his hair before leaning his head against the back of the couch. ”Besides, I have a present for you!” he sang, giving her a wink. NOTES he feels bad lol |

bailey had no idea that he was here and if she had, she would be embarrassed that she wasn't able to wake herself up. she didn't want him knowing that she was so tired, she didn't want him thinking that she wasn't looking forward to going out tonight. she herself had gone out shopping, which was not something that she should really be doing unsupervised. but she was confident and excited about the dress that the attendants in the fancy store had helped her pick out, and she had splurged on the outfit, as well as the anniversary present that she had found for johnny. everything that she had done today was in preparation for tonight and she knew that johnny had planned it especially for just them. no paparazzi for the most part, no interviews, no microphones being slammed in their faces. she was excited and she wanted to celebrate their relationship. being with him had been the best thing that had happened to her and she wanted him to know how much she appreciated it. the young woman needed to figure out what she could do to prove that she wanted to go out tonight even though she was passed out on her living room sofa.
she was suddenly aware of the couch shifting, but she figured it was only phoenix as he moved to get himself more comfortable. he usually nudged himself under her feet any way because he loved being warm, but this was different. feeling a whisper at her ear, she shuddered from the warm breath that crested over her skin and her big blue eyes fluttered open in surprise. seeing her delightfully handsome boyfriend inches from her sent her heart skipping a beat, and his lips were quickly on hers, kissing her as a way of waking her up. the familiar nickname made her smile and she found herself wanting to move closer to him naturally, as she was prone to do on a normal, everyday basis. she loved cuddling with him, but he had other ideas. as he started massaging her feet, she closed her eyes once more, relaxing even more at his simple touch. "you're making me not want to get up, babe." she admitted sleepily to him and then heard his next words as he finished rubbing her feet.
her eyes flew open suddenly and she sat up so quickly she got a head rush.
"argh, no! i'm up, i'm up. i went out and bought a dress for tonight, you have to see it and approve because you really can't disapprove because...you just have to see it." she blurted out suddenly, her voice still slurred from sleep as she grabbed onto his upper arm. hearing his next words brought a suspicious glare to her features and she eyed him warily. "i thought we agreed that you wouldn't be buying me anything else after the lavish shopping spree?" huffing, knowing it was a losing battle anyway, she scrambled off of the couch after kissing him on the cheek, getting tangled up in the blanket. grunting, she pushed the blanket off of her, throwing it over him and basically running to the bedroom with phoenix at her heels.
diving into the room, she grabbed the dress, now wrapped in the garment bag and unzipped it quickly. tossing the bag onto the queen sized bed, she called out to him. "okay, close your eyes!" she instructed him and was soon standing right in front of him. the dress wasn't on her, but he could get the gist of the gold shimmery piece of clothing from it just being on the hanger. "alright, what do you think? be honest, i really tried this time."

[style=background: transparent; width:240px; padding:5px; text-align: center; font-size: 9px;]WORDS zero zero zero TAGGED bailey She looked so peaceful, completely absorbed in her slumber and he didn’t want to wake her. He wanted to brush her hair away from her face and cradle her and snuggle all night long. But Johnny knew that he couldn’t do that because the longer she stayed in her sleeping form, the longer it would take for her to get ready and then there was the possibility that they would miss their reservation. If she hadn’t spilt coffee on his pants, then he had no idea where he would have found himself now. Most likely he would be stuck in a depression of sorts, never leaving his room and no one would ever care. Bailey happened to be the best thing to happen to him in months, and there was no way he was not going to celebrate their relationship tonight. There was not going to be any cameras or anything of the sorts, and that was the best part. He could be goofy and charming all he wanted, and there was no one that would tell him otherwise. They could relax and laugh and feel as though they were just another normal couple. Besides, once the election was over, there would not be nearly as many cameras. The cameras would lose interest whether he won or lost because he would either become a someone or become a no one. It was up to the public, and he wasn’t all that confident at the moment. There was still the percentage that he could lose and everything was for nothing. But he wasn’t going to think negatively. That was not how he lived his life.
His fingers continued to apply pressure against her soft feet and smiled as he heard her sigh. She woke up, her eyes still glazed with sleep and it made him want to sleep the night away with her. But Johnny grinned, and their lips met for a brief moment before they separated and relaxed back on the couch. ”I mean, I’m not opposed for sitting on the couch all night…especially in that cute attire,” he winked, but he didn’t move his fingers up her legs. No, he wanted tonight to be about love and not the sexual urges that they were feeling all the time. As long as they were together tonight, enjoying them, then Johnny was happy. He just needed Bailey around, because without her, he felt as though a part of him was missing. Everything he felt was an intense feeling that he knew he could never forget.
She sat up and he laughed at her next words.
”Sweetheart, you could walk in naked and I’d still worship the ground you walked on.” he teased, and he buried his face into her shoulder blade for a moment before releasing her and allowing her to run around. ”And I’ll always spoil you, so hush” he laughed as he watched her struggle out of the blanket before sprinting into the back room. He stood up and made his way back into the kitchen, finishing his glass of water in one big gulp. But when she asked him to look at her, he couldn’t help but love what she was holding.
It was beautiful.
”It’s perfect. Looks like I’m teaching you a thing or two,” Johnny took a couple strides across the room before pulling her close and pressing his lips against hers. ”But I may have a problem because I bet that there will be a lot of wandering eyes, and I don’t like anyone looking at my girlfriend in that way,” he teased, his jealousy obvious. His eyes drifted to the dress once more. ”It’ll look beautiful on you,” and on the floor later tonight he wanted to add, but withheld the comment. No, Johnny was an appropriate adult that needed to relax and get his hormones in check. NOTES he feels bad lol |

hearing his words about what she was currently wearing, she felt the blush rise to her cheeks, forgetting that she hadn't bothered putting any pants on. she hadn't expected him for some time, and her alarm had been set to wake her up before he arrived. he cheated. giving him a look, she flicked him in the shoulder with a playful smile. "you're early so i'm not appropriate. you only have yourself to blame." she teased him right back, enjoying this time especially because it was just them. they could be themselves. no fake smiles, no rehearsed lines or speeches. this was playful and easy and she didn't realize how much she had missed them until this moment in time. sighing softly in contentment, she gazed into his eyes for a moment, enjoying just looking at him and realizing how much she loved this man. she had been there through his ups and downs, through his good times and his bad times and nothing he did made her love him any less. he was perfect for her and while she wished she could have met him more gracefully than she did, she wouldn't trade it for the world because it had allowed them to end up here.
if anyone had told her that she'd be in a relationship with such a gorgeous, honest, kind man she would have laughed in their faces. what was she? a small town country girl, with the heavy southern accent to boot. she wasn't that pretty, in her opinion. she wasn't tall with endless legs, she wasn't a blonde bombshell or whatever they were called. she was just bailey. a simple girl with a simple lifestyle. or rather, she had a simple lifestyle before johnny had decided to run for mayor. she was so proud of him, but she just didn't understand what he saw in her sometimes. shaking her head slightly, she blinked, looking away quickly, hoping he hadn't caught her staring. she didn't want anything to ruin their evening, especially her nap time. as he buried his face into her shoulder, a small laugh escaped her. "we can snuggle all we want when we get back. i took tomorrow off so we can actually stay out late." she informed him with a smile and then heard him tell her she could walk around naked for all that he cared.
the blush was on her face again and she wrapped her hands around his upper arm again, just wanting to touch him. she would be lying if she said that she didn't want to sleep with him. every time they were together the urges became stronger, the desire consumed her, but he always respected her. maybe tonight was the night. sucking in a breath at her thoughts, she looked at him with a playful smile. "well maybe tonight could be your lucky night. and no more spoiling!" she announced quickly, diving off of the couch and racing out of the living room at that precise moment, leaving him to wonder over what she had just admitted.
hearing him move around, she took a deep breath and let it out slowly before reappearing in the smaller apartment. glancing shyly out of her bedroom, she waited anxiously for his reaction to the dress and was pleasantly surprised when he said that it was perfect. as he said he was teaching her a thing or two, she snorted adorably in response. "pleaseee. i've always had a wonderful fashion sense." she informed him, which was a complete and utter lie. it sent her laughing, until she heard his next statement. sobering, but with the light still shining in her eyes, she returned his kiss willingly and then studied him. mr. giancola, is that jealousy i sense? i'm all yours, don't worry your pretty little head." she stated, but found she only wanted to kiss him more. letting the dress fall to the back of the couch, she stepped closer to him, rising onto the tips of her toes to wrap her arms around his neck. her lips found his in an instant and she kissed him soundly, passionately, and then snuggled into his chest. "we should get ready.."

[style=background: transparent; width:240px; padding:5px; text-align: center; font-size: 9px;]WORDS zero zero zero TAGGED bailey His eyebrows rose at her comment. It was most certainly not his fault that she was dressed like that, but he refused to say that aloud. Instead, he simple listened to her teasing words and embraced the moment. It had been a while since the two had spent time together, bantering back and forth with each other. Their chemistry was undeniable, and even Johnny’s friends had commented on it. He was positive that his mother would adore Bailey when the time was right to introduce the group, since his mother was adorable like she was. Normally, they would have been introduced already, but Johnny had been lazy when setting up a dinner night. That night would have to come sooner rather than later as the election came closer; mostly because they would all be sitting together and it wouldn’t exactly be easy for Bailey to bond with people she hadn’t met yet. His parents didn’t understand the hardship that he had to deal with those weeks and months before; in fact, Bailey was the only one that had ever seen him at his lowest point. And the fact that she still wanted to be around him was sometimes hard for him to grasp. She was perfect in his mind.
Her next words taunted his very existence. He kept his emotions in check, but the possibility that tonight would be his lucky night was amazing. No, he told himself, he was not going to think about the possibility because then it would be forever in the back of his mind. Instead, Johnny winked down at her and waited for her to bring out the fabulous dress that she wanted to impress him with. He hadn’t picked out his tie yet, instead opting to wait for it to match with whatever the blond beauty decided to wear. But when she revealed the dress, he realized that she would look beautiful. Granted, part of him had wondered if she could pull off picking something elegant and desirable, but Bailey had. He had obviously helped her with the fashion sense, although he continued to adore the outfits that revolved around his clothing. She always looked sexiest in the morning when wearing his sweatshirt or baggy shirts. But in dressed, she looked elegant and like a princess he always wanted to be around.
”Have you? Well, I guess I must be the one with the bad fashion sense.” Johnny teased in response before shrugging his shoulders. Yes, yes it was jealousy. ”You couldn’t get rid of me even if you tried,” he murmured before their lips met. His breath seemed to disappear for a moment, as though he was a girl in love. Instead, he was a boy completely smitten by Bailey Owens. Her body morphed to the shape of his chest and he sighed. ”I guess we should. You’re the one that has to do all the girly stuff in the bathroom. I just have to shower,” he said with a shrug. ”I CALL SHOWER FIRST!” and with that, he kissed her once more on the lips before sprinting to the bathroom, taking off his clothes and jumping in the shower. He would be quicker in general, and it was only moments before he was done and wrapping a towel around his waist.
Escaping into the living room with his suit and tie on, he waited for Bailey patiently. Her present was in his pocket and he wondered if it would be better to give it to her now. No, he wanted it to be a surprise and he decided that presenting her present at the restaurant would be the best. So it sat heavily in his pocket and Johnny quickly downed another glass of water before walking around the room. His shoes clacked with each step and he gazed at all the pictures scattered around, some of the two of them and some of Bailey and her family and friends. He was lucky, and he knew it. she raised an eyebrow as he announced himself as the one with the bad fashion sense, and she smiled, knowing what the truth was. if it hadn't been for him and his campaign manager, she would still be seen as that girl from the sticks, as she had been seen at the beginning of the election race. she hadn't had anything special to wear and she certainly didn't have the money to afford the things that she should be wearing as the girlfriend of the man running. however, johnny hadn't given her a chance to argue against his spending sprees, and she was now outfitted with an entire wardrobe with clothes that were deemed appropriate. there was a wide variety of things in there, and bailey was busy pulling extra shifts to try and pay him back. but every time she offered him money, he refused her and usually distracted her easily enough to get her mind off of it for the time being. so, she spent the money on extra every day outfits so he wouldn't have to do that either. she usually employed the help of the staff in the store, and they took pity on her, giving her the expertise and the advice that she so desperately needed.
sighing softly at the realization that she sucked at picking out clothes because she was most comfortable in jeans and a baggy shirt, she looked up at him, wishing that she could be more for him. sometimes she just didn't feel good enough for him, although it was a thought she never voiced out loud. the worry filled her blue eyes before she could even begin to stop it, so she busied herself by snuggling against him so that she could try to hide it from him. there was no need to worry him about such an issue.
when he told her that she couldn't get rid of him if she tried, the small smile worked its way onto her features and she didn't try to stop it. the smile would hide her distraction, and she tightened her small arms around him as they stood so near to one another. she missed the private times with him like this and she wished that there was more time to just be together. without philipa, without the press, and the campaign. while she was incredibly happy for him that he had found something that he wanted to do, she missed her boyfriend. she just wanted to spend a long day with him, lounging around. but it never seemed to work into their schedules anymore. she was working longer hours to keep up with this new lifestyle, and he was busy running his campaign and she would never harp on him for that. she was in all ways the supportive other half, and she wanted to be there for him. she would carry her worries in silence because it was something that she had always done since she was very young. she hadn't even told johnny about her family because it was something that she didn't want to worry him with either. things were just too out of control for her to confide those things in him now.
as he called out the shower, she laughed and let him go, watching her dog chase after him, thinking he was playing. as phoenix got shut out of the bathroom, bailey whistled to him and the dog followed her loyally into the bedroom. luckily she had showered earlier in the day because she was worried that they would run into a problem like this, and she really only needed to style her hair and slip her dress on. closing the door behind her and the dog, she sat down at her dressing table, furrowing her brow at her reflection in the mirror. firing up her laptop, she found the video that she needed that would help her style her hair. this was what she had resorted to, but it seemed to work, for after a half and hour of teasing her long blonde locks, she had succeeded with the volumized, stylish bun that would pair perfectly with the low neckline of her dress. smiling to herself, she applied her make up, keeping it light as she always did. bailey always went for the natural look. it was something that she never wanted to change, despite the arguments her stylists had. this was something, the only thing she was firm on.
finishing up, she tossed off his sweatshirt and slipped a lacy black thong on, pairing it with a black strapless bra that would be hidden with the dress. pulling the gold slip on, she zipped it with a bit of a struggle, but managed to get herself all set and situated. grabbing the tall pair of black heels, she shoved them on as well and stood gazing at her reflection. well, it didn't seem so bad. reaching to her bed, she grabbed the thigh length black jacket that she had for dressy occasions, getting the black clutch that would go with her shoes. she wore no jewelry, as per the advice from the store clerks, and she soon stepped out into the living room, stumbling slightly from the height of her heels. blushing dramatically, she turned timid eyes up to her boyfriend. "i think i'm ready..."

[style=background: transparent; width:240px; padding:5px; text-align: center; font-size: 9px;]WORDS zero zero zero TAGGED bailey He was a pro at getting changed ever since he was forced to change in the backseat of cars. More than once, Phillipa had back to back events and he was forced to make good use of the backseats. Out of everything, the thing that would need the most help was the tie. Johnny could tie a tie, but he never seemed to get it straight enough to please anyone. It was always a little off centered, and it bothered him. So quickly, he wore a white shirt underneath his tuxedo, deciding to dress extra nice for his time with Bailey. Most time with her had become times resorted to public appearances, but at least tonight they wouldn’t be too bothered. He had asked for a booth in the back, far away from the public eye and all those that would be begging for his attention. Instead, he would be solely focused on Bailey because, in a sense, tonight was all about her and her need to make sure that he was okay. If it wasn’t for her, he would have nothing and be nothing. She had saved him from the destructive path he had created. Throwing some gel in his hair, he gave himself a teasing grin in the mirror. He looked handsome enough, choosing to opt for something simple. His tie, however, matched the gold in her dress perfectly and he was pleased that he had something that would match. It would be horrible if they didn’t match on their anniversary, which was right around Valentine’s Day. Dropping the gift for her in his pocket, Johnny wondered when the perfect time would be to give it to her. Hell, he’d know. He always knew when the best times for what were. While he knew this election was hard on her, tonight he would not bring it up. Tonight would be a reminder to relax and focus on the one good thing that had happened in his life in a while. Making his way into the hall, he was glad that he had beaten her. If she had come out first, well, Johnny was sure he would never hear the end of it. She had a habit of making things funny, which was something he adored about her. His eyes, at first, were drawn to the attention of Phoenix, who had come prancing out of the bedroom and towards him. But his eyes found the edge of the dress and he saw that she stumbled. But Bailey recovered quickly and his eyes dragged up the dress to her hair, and he felt his breath escape. This was the woman he wanted to marry. Not yet, for they were new to their relationship in his mind, but Johnny knew he was going to marry her. His breath was slowly coming back, and he was sure that his mouth was open a little bit and his eyes were as wide as saucers. His mouth moved for a moment, nothing coming out, before he grinned at her and took steps towards her, wrapping his arms around her waist. ”I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look so beautiful, breathtaking, sexy and gorgeous since I’ve met you…although I did like your uniform from the first day I met you,” he whispered in her ear before pressing his lips against hers for what seemed like a while. This was the moment. His hand slipped into his pocket and brought out the leather holder. A nervous smile appeared on his lips and he couldn’t meet Bailey’s eyes. ”I, uh, got you this,” he said, before opening the case and referring to the diamond pennant. Johnny had picked it out all by himself, without any help from the women around him. And he hoped that she would love it, almost as much as he loved her. NOTES he feels bad lol |

my head is spinning, so blow me one last kiss [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image: url(http://i758.photobucket.com/albums/xx223/ka7raelizabeth/3346431062_dc458bf3d0-1.jpg); width: 388px; padding-top: 20px; padding-bottom: 20px;]
he was staring.
why was he staring at her like that? suddenly nervous and highly aware of what she looked like, she glanced down to her dress, her hands running over the intricate design as she tried to smooth it over her body. it fit her like a glove, hugging her shape in all of the right places. when she had put it on in the store, she had been unsure when she had first seen her reflection in the mirror. it had seemed too fancy for her, but after steady encouragement from the staff of the store around her, she had relented. she had loved it, honestly, but she was afraid that she was too simple for it. and as johnny stared at her now, his eyes as wide as saucers, she was terrified that her first instincts were right. starting to feel a bit ridiculous, the blush rose over her ivory skin and she shifted awkwardly before him, wondering why in the world she had even bothered. "babe? i can..i..." however, her words were cut short as he crossed the room and wrapped his arms around her waist.
relief spread through her as she heard his words, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, linking her fingers together as she hugged him, burying her face in the crook of his neck as he complimented her. she was blushing profusely because of what he was saying to her, and only when he finished did she pull her face free. his smell had distracted her for a moment because he simply smelled so good, but she focused on him now as his lips met hers.
kissing him willingly, with a smile, she let it linger, glad for the attention that she was getting from him now. while he usually gave her everything she needed, she missed him while he was campaigning and she would be lying if she said that she wasn't looking forward to being with just him tonight. while normally she hated when he spoiled her, tonight was going to be different, she knew. she loved him. she loved everything about him...his highs and his lows, his good and his bad sides. everything about him was beautiful and unique and everything that she ever wanted in a man. and as she kissed him, she wanted him to know just how deeply she felt about him. letting her passion come forward more than it ever had before, she kissed him strongly, losing herself in the moment until he pulled away, leaving her in a spell as she smiled softly up at him. "you...smell really, really nice. but you can't ever get your tie right, can you?" she teased him gently. it was her way of saying thank you for the compliments without further embarrassing herself. the adoration in her eyes as she looked up at him would tell him just how much she appreciated him pointing out how beautiful she looked. it made her feel comfortable and at ease, especially in his regal presence. sighing to herself, she unhooked her hands and let her fingers travel over his shoulders, stopping at his chest. studying him for a moment, she gave her head a little shake and then reached for his tie, straightening it out and tightening the knot so that it was more presentable.
"there. no you're perfect." she informed him with a smile, watching as he drew something out of his pocket, announcing that he had gotten her something. furrowing her brow, she looked at the long box between his fingers, her heart skipping a beat at the prospect of the jewelry inside. and when he opened it, she lost her breath, gasping audibly as she stared down at the perfect, simple, yet elegant diamond necklace he had picked out for her. it looked like it cost a fortune, but for the first time ever, she didn't complain about the price tag and him spoiling her. this was perfect. finding her voice, she picked up the box daintily from his hands, her eyes still wide. "johnny! it's...it's beautiful! it's perfect! thank you....this...i...thank you!" she was speechless, but she disentangled herself from him to work the necklace out of the box. delicately unclasping it, she brought it around her neck and clasped it together, feeling it settle just above her heart. the smile she gave him now radiated and she went back to him, throwing her arms around him, kissing him strongly.
and then it happened. it just felt right, and she couldn't stop the words that came forth from her mouth. she didn't want to. whispering against his lips, she spoke slowly. "i love you johnny giancola. so much."

[style=background: transparent; width:240px; padding:5px; text-align: center; font-size: 9px;]WORDS zero zero zero TAGGED bailey They were intertwined the moment her doubt had disappeared and the moment he had crossed the room. Johnny had seen the doubt locked into her features and it had made it nervous, thinking that maybe his words and reaction hadn’t been enough. But it had, and he wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, her body heat warming his soul. The dress almost shined as bright as her soul, the soul that had captivated him the moment they had met. He knew that she thought she was too simple for him, that she was too normal for a world that he was slowly becoming part of, but she was a perfect fit. Bailey would be the one to make sure he didn’t become something he didn’t want to be. Johnny wanted to be the same, even after everything that happened with his history and all the opportunities that were at his fingertips. The blond beauty was so normal; such a breath of fresh air from the life he was living in the public that he knew he never wanted her to leave him. If Bailey left, Johnny was sure he would go into a downward spiral.
When she looked up at him, he couldn’t help but notice the red color that had seemed to appear on her cheeks. Chuckling, he pressed a gentle kiss on her rosy cheek before resting his forehead against hers. He pressed a kiss against her nose before taking in her darling appearance again. He couldn’t help but soak up how beautiful she looked in such a beautiful dress. If it was up to him, he would ravish her all night with anything she liked.
Rolling his eyes in a playful manner, he released his grip on her waist and allowed her nimble hands to fix his tie. Without her, he was sure he would be a hot mess all the time. Their eyes met, and he absorbed the look between the two, knowing how much she adored him and how much she loved the idea that he believed she was beautiful. A model could walk by, and Johnny was certain that they would not grab his attention like she had his now. ”I’m only perfect when I’m with you, cub scout” he teased, but knowing that he had point. Without Bailey around, he always felt as though a part of him was missing. She completed him in the sense that she brought out the best in him. She made him want to be a better person.
Her reaction to the necklace was perfect and priceless. Johnny grinned and watched her immediately toss the box aside and place it on her long neck. ”I’m glad you adore it. I didn’t know what you wanted and-“ his words were cut off as she flung herself into his arms, their lips meeting for a passionate kiss. His fingers twisted into the fabric of the dress, pulling her as close as he could against his body. They separated for a moment and he panted for a moment, looking for air to fill his lungs. ”We need to head to the restaurant soon so we don’t lose our reservations,” he mumbled against her ears, but soon, his breath was stolen again. This time, it had nothing to do with sweet kisses that were normally exchanged between the two.
I love you echoed through his mind, and for a moment, he wished he had said the three words first. But instead of pausing and not responding, he pressed his lips against hers. ”I love you too, cub scout,” he whispered before pressing his lips against hers once more.
Somehow, he managed to maneuver her so that she was against the wall. His hands were teasing the soft skin of her bare back as his kisses were trailing down her neck before biting gently against the skin. His lips went back to her lips and he passionately kissed her once more before leaning his lips a few inches away from hers. ”We have dinner reservations somewhere…I think…” he mumbled out, all thoughts escaping his mind. Johnny couldn’t put a sentence together, out loud or in his mind at this point. He was consumed by the girl which he loved.
He loved Bailey Owens and wanted the whole damn world to know it. NOTES he feels bad lol |

as he looked down at her while she adjusted his tie, she glanced up at him with a playful look and then refocused her attention back on what she was doing. raising an eyebrow, still feeling him staring, she ignored him. however, for some reason, laughter bubbled at the back of her throat, and she nearly snorted as she tried to hide it from him. she felt absolutely giddy at the moment because of how beautiful he made her feel and because of how perfect they seemed for one another. she just wanted to lose herself in him. she knew that they had dinner reservations but she honestly couldn't wait to get back here tonight. flicking her gaze back to his eyes, she heard his words and looked at him with an incredulous expression on her tanned face. "uh sir? do you not remember that one time in that small diner in which i spilled coffee all over your pants? hardly perfect, so i can't make you perfect." she said with a small smile, teasing him. shaking her head, she smoothed her hand over the gold colored tie, appreciating the fact that he went to such lengths just so that they would match.
"so, technically, i believe you're only clumsy when you're with me. but, i had the biggest crush on you..." she admitted with another blush. it was true. the two weeks that she had been working at the diner were the best two weeks of her life because of the handsome, blue eyed young man that came in every morning for his usual. while she didn't always get to complete his order for him, it had always cheered her up when she had. she never believed in a million years that they would be where they were, but she was more than grateful. shaking those thoughts from her mind now, she focused on the present that he had gotten her, still slightly breathless from the beauty of it and its simplicity. she wanted to stare at it all night, but he would get that pleasure, since he would be sitting across from her after all. completely content, she heard his words but cut him off, unable to help herself as she jumped into his arms, kissing him until she was breathless. as they finally broke away for air, her breathing was heavier, but she kept herself tight up against his body, yearning for him in a way that she never had before.
his words slowed her racing heart, and she found his eyes with her own, nodding in response to his statement.
"you're right. we should go..." she agreed with him, knowing that it was best if they left now. but the moment just seemed to get away from her and she just told him what was in her heart. she loved him and it was about time that he knew it. he deserved to know that he was loved, especially after everything that he had been through. bailey would never forget the stories that he told her, the miseries and the depressions that he had experienced. she wanted to be able to ease his trouble and his pain, and loving him was the only way that she knew how. being here for him, being the rock that he needed in his life was the least that she could do. he was saving her from her small town lifestyle and her shyness. she was saving him from his destructive nature. they needed each other, they balanced one another. they were like a perfect match and she wouldn't trade him for the world. and as he spoke to her, pairing those three words with that familiar nickname, a small whine rose in her throat as he kissed her firmly on the lips.
she moved willingly, even gracefully, as he maneuvered her backwards and into the wall. feeling his fingers on the sensitive skin on her back sent chills up and down her spine, and she wrapped her arms around his neck as he deepened their kiss. as his lips left hers, she kept her own parted, leaning her head back so he would have easier access to her neck. it was her weak spot, the spot that always brought a sound from her, and a gasped moan left her lips as he nipped at her skin. she was losing it. she was losing her composure as he worked his talented lips on her, and she was grateful for the relief when he brought his lips to hers again. then, she heard his words as he pulled away. color had risen to her cheeks from the passion and the lust she felt, and she nodded as he spoke about reservations. opening her eyes, she pushed herself up from the wall, leaning closer to him to whisper in his ear. "i'm all yours. later. i promise." she spoke to him, letting him know that she was ready. he had been a patient gentleman, and their confession of love only told her that this was what she really wanted. she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life.
taking his hand in hers, she stepped sideways, spinning him with her, kissing him once more on his lips. releasing her hold on him, she grabbed her jacket and shrugged it on, buttoning it up and closing herself off to him for the time being. smiling back at him, she spoke up once more. "you better remember the restaurant, because i'm starving."
