Oh, but I’m not all that interesting! Meh, alright. Here we go. Hi, hello, my name is Zac. I’m twenty two years old, not a native to the city of Boston. I actually grew up in the state of Washington, you know … on the other side of the country, but I came here for school and have been ever since. I’m used to the coldness, somewhat dreariness of Boston because that’s all I’ve known my whole life. It’s funny, cause my now girlfriend Andy grew up with me, and went to a school in Boston as well. Not the same one, but close enough that we still always saw each other. Andy has always been my best friend since we were children. Family friends, you know? We randomly had this idea to start dating a few years back, but we still act like old friends. It’s kind of weird when we get intimate, but she is beautiful so I’m not complaining. I love that girl, she’s the best girl anyone could ask for. She’s sweet, charming, hilarious, somewhat obnoxious, all that good stuff. My other best friend is Alonzo … or Al, as I call him since Alonzo just makes me laugh a little bit. His family is way too Italian for their own good. He’s been my roommate since freshman year of college, and still is today. We actually work together as nurses, funny, right? I don’t know how that worked out … like some random day we got this brilliant idea to become nurses. Well, I always wanted to be a veterinarian, but I’m not book-smart enough for that, haha. I love animals and wanted to work with them – but helping people is close enough. You can say I’m a bit of a softie, kind of the opposite of Al. That’s probably why we always get along so well. Rooming with him in college was awesome. Having a good roommate makes the experience, so our college years were pretty rowdy to say the least. Me being the more subtle, quieter, still funny guy, I was always the one being pressured to do keg stands and all. Something I never would have done at home … something that never really would have even happened at home. Washington was a more “let’s just drink a casual beer and be casual about it and shit” kind of party place. Especially with my hovering parents that never really let me do anything, I had a lot of partying to get out of my system in college. Thank god I was on the opposite side of the country … I needed that. Some would say that I went a little too crazy, but isn’t that what most kids with helicopter parents do? It doesn’t help that I’m an only child. REGARDLESS, I had fun in college and that’s my point. I had my best friend and my … girlfriend, I guess? I dunno, it’s still weird to me to consider her my girlfriend since we’re so close in such a friendly way, you know? Well now, we all live together – me, Al, Andy, and Al’s girlfriend Grace. We’re like a big happy family, but I can see Al’s slight frustration with Grace. I know that she doesn’t want to live with me and Andy in the house anymore, especially me. I’m like Ted from that movie, she just wants me OUT. Haha. So that’s about it in my biography. I’m twenty two, only child, from Washington, a registered nurse, I have a “girlfriend” and a best friend, I have Al, and I really want to get a puppy. |
