He isn't great at conversation, and is often rude, blunt and inappropriate. If a situation is awkward, he will say so. He likes to keep to himself and will rarely strike up a conversation for the sake of it He isn't an honest person and will bend the truth in his favour. He has a habit of hurting people, which includes the people that are closest to him (not that he cares, right?). He is a liar, a cheat and has anger management issues. He often experiences rage-blackouts, which has resulted in him raising his fists to women in the past. He dislikes this side of him; however, he also believes that whoever is on the receiving end of his blows usually deserves it. Women aren't important, so of course he has never been in love and to be honest, he doesn't think he ever will be. He likes to use them for sex and if that means he has to wine and dine them, and play them along to his advantage, then so be it He isn't a good friend either. He has always mixed in with the wrong crowd, which has landed him in a lot of trouble in the past. Surprisingly though, he is a well-established police officer. He likes to arrest wrong-does, not so it keeps crime off the street but because it makes him look good. He is never modest and will always boast about his achievements. He is stubborn, egotistical and an arse-hole. Emmett always wanted to be a police officer, ever since his father first came home and told him about the exciting arrests that he made during his day at work. He used to spend his evenings running around the house with his fathers' badge and handcuffs, telling different members of the family that they're under arrest. Emmett was a skinny little boy and was often jokingly referred to as the runt of the family. He was pushed around by his older brothers and teased at school because he couldn't play sports. He suffered badly from acne, anxiety and a terrible stutter. Eventually the bullying became so bad that Emmett lifted a chair and brought it down on a peer's head. He beat him black and blue until his mind went black and he came around with his hands in cuff. Luckily for Emmett, the police took into consideration the circumstances and he was let off with a warning. After that, the bullies moved onto somebody else and Emmett was left to his own devices. Once out of the public eye, Emmett gradually transformed into a handsome, athletic individual that passed school with perfect grades. Once out of school, he joined the police force and was quickly taken on as a police officer. |
