overflow: auto; font-size: 9px;]alexei petrov stood behind his older brother, aleksander petrov for his life. with only a few years separating the two, the brothers were close but rivalry flared and infected their relationship. following their father, aleksander took over the russian mafia as the elder son. enraged, alexei stood in the mafia as a partner, but he swore that one day the title of leader would be his own. he met his wife, olesia through his work. she was a beautiful woman, with fair blonde hair and blue eyes that wasn't like any other women he ever been with before. the only problem was she had no desire t be with him. courting her for six months and all but forcing her to marry him by using her family's poor standings against her. he married in a desperate plea to keep his ever-slipping sanity. he and olesia were married for three years before conceiving their first child as his older brother gave birth to his only child, natalia. during her pregnancy, olesia started to have complications and became violently ill. she was bed ridden with seizures, slipping in and out of comatose until the birth of her child. they delivered her child via cesarean and in an attempt to save her life, removed her uterus and Fallopian tubes. having withstood eight months of tremendous pain, olesia succumbed to her disease, never meeting her infant daughter. alexei in his state of mourning chose his daughter's name by naming her after his maternal grandmother, anya, and his mother, czarina. immediately his older brother offered his condolences and hired a nanny-nurse to take care of his niece. olesia's death stunned alexei and he felt his sanity slipping away to pure rage. in an attempt to tame it, he forced anya's nurse to marry him just a little over a year after olesia's death. while the nurse tried to refuse, she valued her life enough to agree to the wedding. yulia was a quiet woman, she never defied her husband alexei and she took care of her step-daughter without many words. yulia had three healthy sons with her husband in the short span of five years after her wedding. despite her marriage being forcefully arranged she grew to love her husband and her children, no longer seeing anya as any child but her own. alexei was faced with a difficult decision as his younger daughter turned seven. he would have to choose whether or not she was properly fitted to be trained in hopes of becoming the future leader of russian mafia as he now knew he his opportunities were dwindling. knowing that his sons would someday loathe their sister for her potential status. anya spent her childhood being one of the girls that had many friends but yet were still the odd one out. she didn't know her cousin natalia at all, besides the fact that she was to become the russian mafia leader one day and that somehow made her better than anya. the arrogance of her cousin helped fuel anya to become the killer queen that was inside of her. she was vicious to friends and practicing shooting was a breeze when she came out with a perfect shot. she impressed even her grandparents, but despite all of her hard work and excellence in her tasks, they didn't change the succession from natalia to anya. anya knew deep down that one day she would become a powerful leader, she would just have to wait for her cousin to fall. in the mean time, she set out to have a normal life in front of her second life that was too dark for normal teenagers to handle. she made friends, she went out, she partied, dated, fucked around, and got higher than a kite. that was the way her teenage years needed to be whenever she wasn't doing things for her father. working hard to achieve the best grades and performing well in extracurricular activities and sports, anya cried tears of complete happiness alongside her stepmother when they recieved the harvard university acceptance letter to study pharmacy/pharmacology. while alexei was immediately nervous to let his daughter go, he allowed her to follow the dream that she had and was not his own. because of her schooling and where her birthday falls, anya started her college at the age of seventeen. she realized as she studied and made more friends in her high school year that she realized the secret life she was trained in and where her personality stems from is not the life the wanted for herself. now having becoming a legitimate pharmacist, she doesn't want to be the russian mafia leader nor return back home to her father. instead of admitting the truth, she allowed her father to believe she was taking over the position where her cousin had been killed while she has no intentions to do so. she sends her father fake progress notes in emails and tells him lies over phone calls while she steadily lives out her life as a pharmacist. |
